Youth Sports Instructor (part-time evenings)

Seeking individual to teach youth sports fundamentals (basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, etc.).  Previous experience required.

Seeking certified life-guards to work a variety of shifts.  Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Bus Driver (part-time) Bus driver needed to pick up children from local elementary schools and bring them to the after school program located at the YMCA campus.  Excellent driving record is required.

KASPER Program Leader- Before & After School KASPER Program (part-time)

GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Director of School Age Programs, The Program Leader is responsible for supporting and assisting the Site Director in supervising the KASPER child care site and implementing the YMCA Child Care standards.  The standards provide a base for development of an excellent child care program for school-age children. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Program Leader must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of a high school diploma, at least 6 semester hours of credit related to school age childcare or related field,or have one year experience working with preschool or school age children and have three references.  The Program Leader must also have First Aid and CPR certification within one month of employment (offered here at the Y).  Must possess a positive and professional attitude; must be willing and able to swim with the children; must be willing and able to participant in active games/sports with the children, i.e. be able to run, jump, climb, play sports and other similar activities; must be willing and able to attend all staff meetings and trainings.
